What'd you think? I liked the episode, but thought Meg made a big mistake. At least she broke it off in the end. Do you know when the next new episode airs?

I thought it was good and I think Meg made a big mistake as well I never expected her to do that but I'm glad she dumped creepo Chris but its guranteed the creep will keep bothering her...

I wish he'd go away or something.I'm not sure when the next new one is but since its that time again for boring Awards shows its not on Next Sunday...

When I first saw the Golden Globes in 1998 they were on fox and ever since American Dreams came to NBC I think I'm the only one whom noticed they suddenly moved the Golden Globes to NBC.Mel

I thought it was an ok episode. I liked "Home Again" better than this one. I'm glad Meg realizes she made a big mistake about Chris. She probably should've known better anyway.

The next episode isn't until January 23rd. I'm really looking forward to it too.

The only reason I'll be watching the Golden Globes is to see if "Phantom of the Opera" wins anything. I'll miss AD though.

Sad First Love

If I'm not mistaken, Chris is Meg's first love. And she went "all the way" with him. As I was sitting there seeing them together in bed, I could not believe what I was looking at. I was all like, "Um Meg, NOOOOOOOOOOO!"

I just looked at my mom and shook my head.

But anyway, spilled milk and all, if Meg is anything like me, right now she has to be in emotional pain in a major way. I was really feeling for her when she walked past him into her house, staying strong and when she started to cry once inside the house. Oh man.

I guess it is more or less kinda realistic, but just like Jack and Helen, I sure did hope for more for Meg. Oh well, live and learn. OMG. What if they throw in another pregnancy. Another: NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!

Please just let Meg go to College and meet a nice guy.

My emotions are all over the map with AD right now. I don't know *what* I want... Well, I actually *do* know what I want, but it would make for a very boring show.

Trish

I had that thought too... geez I hope not. I think I might seriously stop watching the show if they did. I'm not quite sure what to think of Meg. My opinion of her has gone so far down this season. I guess I liked her better back in her goody-goody stage. I hope she doesn't take back Chris. He's such a jerk, and my solution is just to bring back Jimmy Riley.

Hi iowa*sweetie,

Jimmy Riley????

YES! How could I forget about Jimmy?

Right on. I think that your idea rocks.

You know it! He was, and still is, the best minor character they put on the show. In my opinion. I think it's about time to see him again.

I was thinking the same, about the pregnancy. I hope they don't do it, but I could see the writers doing that and gicing a diffeent perspective (have Meg handle it differently than Beth did). But I don't think (and hope) that the writers won't do that to Meg's character!

I definitely think less of her lately. I don't necessarily want her to be a "goody two-shoes," but I think the rebellious nature is getting to be a little much. I'd love to see a better relationship develop between Meg and Will and Patty, and to see some of the focus go back to Bandstand. Maybe I missed it, but whatever happened to the internship she had with Bandstand? I think they need to develop some other interests and give her more depth than just fighting with her parents. Just my thoughts, though.

And, yes, bring back Jimmy Riley! And what about JJ's friend who asked her out? That would be a cute storyline, too.

Yeah, I'd forgotten about the internship! But I'd definitely been thinking the same thing, that the focus has gotten so far away from Bandstand. It's almost not even a part of the show anymore. Oh, and I almost forgot: I had been wanting to see the Monkees on the show since season 1! They are my favorite 60s group, and it was definitely my favorite part of the whole show!!

Do we know what happened to JJ's friend? I liked that episode a lot, so I guess if we can't have Jimmy Riley back, I'd settle for that guy.

If I'm not mistaken, it was JJ's friend Danny that was interested in Meg. But she didn't give him a chance because of Drew. He seemed like a nice guy that would let her be who she wanted to be, and someone who would kind of look out for her and support her. Instead, she seems to keep getting into relationships where she becomes what the guy wants her to be and takes on his toughts and interests. It's great to be challenged, but she seems to be easily influenced sometimes. Guess I have to remember that she's only 16, though!

Maybe the upcoming shows will add a little more Bandstand into the mix. There are so many great groups and musical aspects to highlight!

Cool

I don't think they'll do another Pregnancy thing in the same show twice.Plus The Character Meg is about 17 going on 18 now cause she graduates in this season and is the Class Of I think they're in 1966 now.Mel
