What Episode is This From? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Guys,

There is a scene that I remember so vividly from TBS and syndicated versions of The Munsters. Herman and Lily are on vacation and sleeping in bed. They are commenting about how much they enjoy the spookey place. Herman hears a noise and says something like "Oh, Goody!!! We've got company!" A ghost or some other creature is than seen above their bed and says, "Die!!!! Die!!!!" Herman laughs and says, "Oh, how do you do Mr. Die?" and laughs again.

Does anyone else remember this scene? I always thought it was a cut scene from "Herman's Happy Valley" (Where the con-man realtors try to scare the familiy from the resort property that Herman buys from the magazine.) But, last night, I saw that episode on DVD and it was not there! Do I have the right episode? All the DVD episodes run about 25 minutes and 30 seconds so everything should be there. What other episodes does the family go on vacation in where this scene would make sense? It's got to be in Season 2, because I have seen all of the DVD episodes on Season 1.

Please help! or I'll have to borrow Grandpa's crystal ball to find the answer! LOL!

You could watch every episode of The Munsters, but you'll never find your answer. The answer lies in the movie "Munster, Go Home!" The scene is after Eddie, Marilyn and Grandpa all go to sleep, and they cut away to show Herman and Lily in bed. Herman hears a noise and says, "what's that", then the ghost comes out who actually is Freddie Munster in a bedsheet.
