One of the producers for Buffy is the creator for the show Point pleasant on Fox. The commercials look pretty eerie.

Having grown up in New Jersey, and visited the actual Point Pleasant a few times, I think it's funny they're turning Point Pleasant into some sort of eeire Twin Peaks inspired place.

Anyone checking out Point Pleasant tonight? I've been waiting to see this show for a while. It’s about time something good like Buffy came along. Wednesday nights are looking good.

This really was a great show that wasn't given a chance. If FOX advertised it more (or at all), I bet it would have done a little bit better in ratings.

The complete series is being released on DVD October 25th

One of the good things about the DVD revoluton is that cancelled series are finding a new home.

Shows that never caught on or given a chance to build an audience can still be seen by the consumer, rather than banished to oblivion like so many other short lived TV series of old.
