Is there a way or a program that you could use to design the top of a DVD after you make one? For instance, something like this, only you can design it for whatever the dvd might be.

I use Photoshop. I measured and set up a template so I know where the pics sit on the disc then save the whole lot as a JPEG. Then I bring it into the programme that came with my CD/DVD printer to add text and print.

for about 10 bucks at walmart you can buy a DVD/CD label kit that comes with software and disc labels. theres a couple out there. maxell and fellows make them. using the software you can insert any text or picture you like on the disc label.
HOWEVER, i should warn you. when it comes to dvd's its NOT advisable to put labels on them. this causes the disc to go out of balance when played result, the disc will SKIP in many players. for dvd's its advisable to purchase the dvd printables so your able to print directly onto the disc itself. Epson makes a very afordable printer for this purpose. good luck |
