I like so many of the episodes. Maybe when Kelly was supposed to marry Stuart and Hayden hid in the "secret place". Or maybe when Luther and Hayden talked about "Men's town". I really mis Coach, it was such a great show. i think they ruined it when they moved to Orlando. It just wasn't the same.

my fav is "Dauber's Got A Girl" because apart from the fact that it's one of the two eps I know (if it ever aired here, I probably wasn't into sitcoms yet) Tracey Needham is in it as Ann. But I must say, that I really like the show.

Angela: "What's that?"
C.D.: "Lunch!"

Thumbs up

I have 2.

THe one where Luther and Dauber are fighting/arguing and throwing things up and down the vents at each other in there apartments (Luther is upstairs & Dauber is downstairs)

My other favorite is the one where Hayden buy the big pickup truck (they had a name for it, but I can't remember... .)

Sorry I can't elborate more on these episodes, but its been years since I last saw them.)

The one where Hayden appeared on his wife's show and was wearing some fertiltity enhancing device which began to leak when they were on air; was the funniest and most memorable. The show did lose a lot of my interest when it moved to Orlando and Christine and Hayden adopted the baby.

I've just started seeing the reruns again. I like many episodes but I think my favorite would have to be the one where Hayden and Christine find out that Luther is in love, or at least has a crush on Christine. One of my favorite things about the show was watching Luther get upset and go into a panic over something and this episode is a good example of that. Thanks

My all-time favorite episode of Coach would have to be the one where Hayden spends a day alone at Christine's apartment and gets bored. He calls up Luther to play cards and that's where it really gets hilarious. Hayden and Luther have one phrase they keep saying, which is anything we want.
Luther spills grape juice on Christine's new white carpet and then uses her bathrobe to clean it. Anyway they go and get a steamcleaner and dinner burns while they're gone, there's a fire in the kitchen, Hayden breaks down the door and ends up borrowing an oven from the neighbor. I don't know if I have it all in the right order but it is really a very funny episode.
Coach was a great show, but I have to agree that it lost something when Hayden and co. turned pro and moved down to Orlando. At least in the last show, he returned to Minnesota and retired there.

Default favorite episode

There many episodes and momenets I could mention, but there are three in particular.
The first would be the one where the Screaming Eagles win the Pineapple Bowl. It just made me feel glad for a long suffering coach.

The second would be the one where the Screaming Eagles are playing on mational tv and Coach is unable to make the trip due to a toothache and he is relaying instructions to Luther via Dauber over the phone. Everytime the tv shows Luther he is wearing an oxygen mask. And in the end they win the game when the phone becomes disconnected and Luther calls a play thay Hayden never would have. Coach's reaction to this before the winning TD is scored is priceless. And as Coach fans know, so typical of Hayden.

The final one is when Dauber
graduates. He comes into Coach's office with the good news and is so excited that he forgot to check what his degree is in. Once he checks, Dauber says, "It turns out I was a triple major." Just the way he said it cracked me up.

What's the name of the episode or what was it about? Most of us don't know episodes by the date they originally aired.
Also, I don't know when Coach debuted, but a few threads down on this message board, a poster stated it began on February 28, 1989.

There are so many that are good... I would have to say I liked the one where Luther comes to the front door smiling and holds up a frozen mouse...
