Default Sarah Michelle Gellar and Charisma Carpenter battle for WONDER WOMAN role

Ex-Buffy stars Sarah Michelle Gellar and Charisma Carpenter are allegedly competing for the lead role in forthcoming superhero movie Wonder Woman according to online celebrity zine Teen Hollywood.

The pair, who played Buffy Summers and Cordelia Chase respectively in the hit show, are battling for the iconic role after their former boss Joss Whedon agreed to direct the movie remake of the 70s television show says British tabloid The Daily Record.

An insider told the paper "Joss has told the studio that Sarah is his first choice followed by Charisma. Sarah expressed an interest, but the producers are more interested in Charisma because she is less well known."

I guess they want to hire a realtivley unknown actress to do two or three "Wonder Woman" movies for no money. Sarah Michelle Gellar might be more of a "name" actress than Charisma, but Sarah isn't an "A" list actress either. It's not like she's going to get 20 million a picture like Nicole Kidman or Julia Roberts.

I reckon that Sarah is a ridiculous choice.Wonder Woman was built,Sarah is so petite and blonde.I think Charisma definetly has the build and the looks for the role, just look at the picture.

Yes, Miss Carpenter could definatly fill in Linda Carter's bustier better then Sarah Michele...

I was never much of a fan of Miss Gellar and her vampire slaying show(please forgive me Buffy Fans). I have caught a few episodes of Angel (my roommate watches the reruns everyday) and I enjoy watching Charisma Carpenter a lot more. She practically steals every scene she's in.

Charisma Carpenter looks more like a Wonder Woman than SMG.

I think Charisma would be perfect for the role.

I read this in tvguide, they said SMG is too short for the role.
