Default Film endings that left you disappointed

You know the feeling.....the movie begins good, and reels you in but by the closing credits you're thinking 'what the hell just happened here?' When i think of disappointing film endings, the first one that comes to mind is The Cru*****hen again, most films where the storyline is about some psycho obsessed with someone else usually ends predictably,i dont know what i expected, but it was a good film and then the end was crap

I didn't like the sudden ending of The Grudge. I thought it was kind of a waste. Then again, "the house was saved" so I assume there will be a sequel...........

Phase IV holds the record for me as having the most incomprehensible ending of any movie I've seen. If you don't know what I'm talking about, Phase IV is a 70s film about a deadly (and smart) swarm of ants.

What's not understandable about it? She went back to being a kid and grew up and married the guy.

The Purple Rose of Cairo.

The ending changes the feel of the whole movie.
It works, but I hate it.

The Village. That movie in general was a big disappointment. The ending was beyond lame.

Well now that I've seen the movie a few times, it makes sense but when I saw it in the theatre, it wasn't very clear to me, but I can be stupid at times
