A Supporting Female character on Good Times that made Aunt Esther look pretty-LOL - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

MRS. BOOKMAN. Damm she was a monster and when she cried she looked even worst.-LOL I think Mrs. Bookman was much harder on the eyes than Aunt Esther from Sanford and Son. Anyone agree?

Her looks in and of themselves weren't so bad, but her behavior made her worse than Aunt Esther, Esther seemed relatively harmless in comparison to Mrs Bookman. That actress played that part to the hilt and made Bookman a much more likeable character in comparison.

Wasn't she the same actress who was in "Which Way Is Up"? As Sister Sarah, the preacher's wife.

not only in that crooked wig in the Florida Flips episode, but also in the Rent Party scene with that honey brown mushroom and bulldog scowl.

I'm not saying either one is a model, but Florida is in the same league as Aunt Esther and Wanda....I've never seen any of them look halfway decent...
