Cool Coach or Woody?

I like Coach better, although I still perfer the Rebecca episodes of the series. Too bad Coach couldn't have lasted for the whole 11 seasons

Coach all the way, the show lost alot of it's spunk when he left, because it was funny watching an old man say slide-splitting lines...but watching Woody is like watching a full-gorwn Opie...it's just sick!

Gotta go with Woody. The writing for the whole show really started to pick up at that point (for me) and therefore Woody benefited from it.

First of all there is NOTHIING sick about Woody nor a "Grown up Opie" Opie wasn't mentally challenged(In fact if you ever watched TAGS you would know that Opie was a smart boy), and niether was Woody. Woddy was niave as was Coach.

I loved them both.. and wish we could have had both.

I thought Woody was more innocent, but I think Coach fit in better. Woody is always saying "Ms. Chambers" and Coach just called her "Diane". I personally like Sam's "Sweethearts" to Diane, even when they weren't dating! I guess I'd go with Coach, but it is a close call!

Agreed. I liked Coach better, but the show was stronger during the Woody years, because it was hitting its peak creatively. It didn't start to lose spunk until the later years when the writing staff started turning over, and the cast seemed like they were getting bored (around the 10th season).

I can't pick between Woody or Coach because I'm more of a Carla fan myself, but I DO have to say I can't stand Rebecca's character in the slightest. (And it's not Kirstie Alley, it's the character.)

Ahh well, no biggie. That's just what I think.

Out of curiosity, which Rebecca don't you like? The hard-edged, slightly neurotic businesswoman from her first season, or the complete ditz from her later years? I really liked how Rebecca started out, but I hate what she evolved into.

Hey!
I Would Have To Say Woody All The Way! He Was Funny, Cute And Very Talented!!! But, Coach Was Great Too! Like The Time Cliff Took Coach's Tie Of And Put It In The Mixer!! And Coach Says, Anbody Want A My Tie? It Cracked Me Up!!! It Would Be Great If Woody And Coach Could Both Be On The Show At The Same Time!

I have to say that Coach was the better of the two. He was so sweet and innocent.

I've never seen a Coach episode yet, and I like Woody, so I guess I'll go with him

This, for me, is one of those instances where I don't have an answer. I love both Coach and Woody. They were both hilarious and added a great deal to the show. I enjoy watching them equally. I can't choose--love em both!

I like Woody, and thought he was adorable at times, but some of the things he did just made me go, "That was so stupid." Other times, I'd just go, "Aw.. he's so... cute." With Coach, he was always "cute"! I adored Coach... he was just a sweet man who was a little slow up the uptake, but always put a smile on your face! So, I love them both, but for me, Coach had that extra something you just can't put your finger on.

Lilith: I mapped out our dominant and recessive traits on a genome square, applied Mendel's laws, allowed for anomolies, and concluded that you are the best biological choice.
Frasier: I see. Well, enticed as I am by your honeyed words, I'm gonna need some kissin'.
Lilith: Frasier, don't misunderstand. I'm not proposing any change in our relationship.
Frasier: Would we sleep together?
Lilith: I thought we'd freeze your sperm.
Frasier: Is that a yes or a no?
Lilith: Natural fertilization isn't practical. I'd have to fly to Seattle every time I ovulate.
Frasier: Right, okay. So then, your plan is for me to visit some local doctor, freeze my essence, and then bring it home with you.
Lilith: Correct. I'll take mine to go!
