Default This Everyday Love

Don't know if this would qualify as general TV, but I wrote a WNTW (What Not To Wear) fanfic. It's a reality show...I think. It's on TLC. Here goes....

THIS EVERYDAY LOVE

Her jet black curls bouncing angrily, Stacy London stormed into her Manhattan apartment and slammed the door, wearily throwing her purse and keys onto the counter. "Fun...yeah, right, Taylor. Shopping with kids is not something I'd call fun."

"Bad day, hon?" Clinton Kelly asked innocently, sneaking up behind her and wrapping his arms around her waist. "I thought you loved shopping."

Stacy whirled around immediately, screaming, then visibly sagged in relief. "Oh....just you."

"Sweetie, I love you to pieces, but don't I deserve more than a 'just you'?"

"Wha-what are you doing here?"

"You gave me your key, remember?" he said, dangling a small piece of metal in front of her. "You said that I could come over and see you whenever I wanted."

"Yeah, well....next time seriously say something before you scare me half to death."

Clinton tugged her into his arms, hugging her close. "C'mere, baby."

She sighed, snuggling deeper into his embrace. "I love you," she mumbled softly. "I want you to be here; I just had a rough day and I'm taking it out on you. I'm sorry." Tears trickled down her cheeks. "Crap," she whimpered.

"Hey, it's okay, Stace. Shhh...it's okay," he murmured into her hair, rubbing her back soothingly. "I know. I've had bad days too. They're no fun."

She wiped her eyes and pulled away from him. "How long have you been waiting for me?"

"Awhile."

"Exactly how long constitues awhile?"

"Hour or so."

She laughed, taking his hand and pulling him to the couch. "You should've called. Never mind, my phone was off."

"Nah...didn't wanna mess up your day. I've heard you talk about your family, and I know how much you love your sister, and nieces and nephew. You barely ever see them. You always see me."

She sighed, settling into his arms on the couch. "I never get enough of you. And you're right, I love my family, but shopping with them is a different story entirely."

"What's wrong?" he asked, absently playing with her hair.

"My dear sweet sister - I love her more than anything in the world, and I'd do anything for her, but she'd incredibly absent-minded - realized that she hadn't bought anything for the kids yet, and proceeded to go off and do her own shopping, deserting me and leaving me in charge of a 17 year old teenage girl and eight year old twins. For starters."

"Ouch."

"You think? Emma walks around with that damn cell phone like its surgically attached, and the first thing she does is dissappear into Abercrombie to flirt with that - and I quote - "incredibly hunkalicious guy that is total perfection personified" - and hang with him all afternoon. Not five minutes into the mall and I've already lost half our entourage. Oh, I'm having a blast now. So I'm in charge of the little ones. Brianna and Brendon are the cutest things, and I love them so much, but they're...a handful, to put it midly. We're in a store picking out a shirt that I know Ems would love, and I turn my back for one second, and guess what?"

"At this point, I'm almost afraid to."

"Don't worry, I'd be too. Well, they were gone. I'd lost my niece and nephew. So I swear to God, I must've run that entire mall twice before I finally find them in the candy store, completely and insanely hyped up on sugar." Suddenly, she turned and buried her face in his chest. "God, Clinton, don't ever let me go shopping with them again."

He laughed gently, running his fingers through her hair. "Okay." She cuddled against him, and he put his arm around her. No words were spoken for a few moments, untill she finally broke the silence.

"Can I just stay right here for awhile? Just like this?"

"You can stay just like this forever." He lifted her chin with his fingers, then captured her lips with his own. She moaned softly, wrapping her arms around his neck. "I love you, Stacy London."

"I love you, too," she whispered. "I love you."

He smiled. "What if I moved in with you?"

Her head shot straight up, her eyes meeting his in shock and surprise. "Excuse me?"

"I mean, I'm here all the time anyway. What would you say if I moved in with you?"

"Are you serious?"

"Serious." His heat began to pound when she didn't respond right away. "Look, this doesn't have to change anything if you say no. I mean, its okay. I love you no matter what. I just..." He was cut off by her mouth pressing on his forcefully. "Take that as a yes."

She squealed, throwing her arms around him. "I love you so much!"

He caught her around the waist, laughing as he pulled her to him. "I love you. Always."

It’s ordinary plain and simple,
Typical, this everyday love.
Same 'ol, same ‘ol keeping it new,
(Same 'ol, This everyday love)
Emotional, so familiar,
Nothing about it too peculiar.
Oh, but I can’t get enough,
Of this everyday love.

Wouldn’t change one single thing about it, no.
It’s run-of-the-mill, still I can’t live without it.

It’s ordinary plain and simple,
Typical, this everyday love.
Same 'ol, same ‘ol keeping it new,
(Same 'ol, This everyday love)
Emotional, so familiar,
Nothing about it too peculiar.
Oh, but I can’t get enough,
(Can't get enough,)
Of this everyday love.
Yeah, of this everyday love.

Can’t get enough of this everyday love.
Can’t get enough of this everyday love.

Can’t get enough of this everyday love.
Can’t get enough of this everyday love.
Can’t get enough.

Very cute, but are you aware that Clinton is very obviously gay?
