Another Chance

This sitcom is about a former Los Angeles gold-digger who learns her beloved father back in Cincinnati has died. Kirstie Alley plays Darlene Jacobson, a former sociallite who loves getting attention and loving being wealthy. After Darlene's father dies, Darlene feels guilty and decides to leave her glamourous lifestyle to move back to Cincinnati to live with her family. Darlene's family consists of: her busybody mother, Suzanne (Doris Roberts), her sarcasticly moody, single sister, Kathryn (Nancy McKeon), her macho, divorced bachelor brother, Tony (Tony Danza), and her grown niece, Krystle (Traylor Howard). Suzanne, Tony, Kathryn, and Krystle are all amazed when Darlene surprises then by announcing her moving plans at the funeral. Kathryn and Darlene are sisters, yet not really "kind-hearted" towards each other-due to the fact, Kathryn is still very hostile towards Darlene ever since Darlene stole her high school boyfriend, married him, and then divorced him a week later. Tony and Darlene are extremely close on the other hand. Tony's daughter, Krystle looks up to Darlene, which makes Kathryn extremely angrier. Darlene bumps into an old former flame of hers back during high school (before she stole Kathryn's boyfriend), Steve (John Travolta).

CAST:
Kirstie Alley as Darlene Jacobson
Doris Roberts as Suzanne Jacobson
Tony Danza as Tony Jacobson
Nancy McKeon as Kathryn Jacobson
Traylor Howard as Krystle Jacobson
John Travolta as Steve Roberts

sorry you are right i did sort of use your idea. sorry about that. but i just loved the idea and i love kirstie alley too. well sorry for sort of using your idea. even though i sort of modified it in a way (no daughter, her dad dying to be begin with, adding the siblings, etc.) Yet I did take your show and just renamed it and slightly changed it. Sorry
