Actually, "One" by Metallica was based on the movie "Johnny Got His Gun", starring Jason Robards and Timothy Bottoms, in 1971. The movie was based on a story by Dalton Trumbo.

But it would be interesting to see a remake of it.

The other two songs would be excellent for movies.

How about "Escape (The Pina Colada Song)" by Rupert Holmes?? Yes, I know I'm a geek. I actually think it would work as a romantic comedy.

I think "The Night Chicago Died" would be a good one, too.

Didn't Barry Manilow make a "Copacabana" movie, or am I just losing it??
