Us And The Girls

Starring Jim Belushi and Bonnie Hunt as a married couple with three daughters. Jim Belushi plays Jim Bancroft (44), who is a construction crew foreman/supervisor. Bonnie Hunt plays Kate Bancroft (41), a second grade teacher. Jim and Kate's daughters include: Kellie (Mischa Barton, 18), Jamie (Jamie Lynn Spears, 13), and Lizzie (Dakota Fanning, 10). Kellie is a senior in high school (twelveth grade). Jamie is in the seventh grade, and Lizzie is in the fourth grade. Kellie has a best friend, Erin Burke (Kaley Cuoco)-who has been her best friend since kindergarten. Kate's younger, single sister, Sarah (Caroline Rhea) lives in town and often stops by the Bancroft home. Kate andSarah are very close sisters, and are kind of like best friend since their teen years. Kate and Sarah's other best friend since high school is Lisa (Felicity Hoffman). Lisa is recently divorced from her cheating ex-husband, and is a now single mother of a 10 year old boy-Ryan (Franky Ryan Manriquez). Ryan and Lizzie are good friends and in the same grade.
In the pilot episode, Sarah's former boyfriend dumps her and moves out of their apartment-leaving Sarah alone in the apartment. Sarah offers Lisa and Ryan to move in with her, as they do. Meanwhile Jim and Bonnie gladly send the girls off to their first day of school.
