The rumor is APRIL 5 the complete Gidget series will be released....after that someone needs to start a "New Gidget" on DVD campaign! Ahhhh the beautiful Caryn Richman!

That's what I think too. Maybe this was just a rumour.

September would have been the perfect time to release Gidget because it's the 40th anniversary of the series.

Gidget is one of my all time favorite TV shows, and I finally have it on DVD. Of course I'd prefer commercial quality, but until that becomes a reality, episodes off of TV will suffice.

While I'm usually too booked up to discuss another trade, a lot of us have it over at The Trading Post.

I'll get this. I wished the show had lasted a lot longer!

My favorite episodes was when Gidget had the slumber party, but everyone slowly ended up leaving. I also like the one where the exchange student, Ingrid came to live w/ the Lawrences & she quickly learned to do as the Americans do, even steal Gidget's boyfriend right from under her nose. Don't ask me why I ask these episodes, I just do!
