Question about movie Problem Child w/John Ritter - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I was just looking up on movietome.com for the movie Problem Child. I know they made this a trilogy. I looked up Problem Child 3 and noticed in the credits of the cast members that this time John Ritter did not play the father Ben Healy as he usually does. Does anyone know why because Im doing a movie review on it for my English class. Thanks.

P.S. another interesting thing is that in the second movie Amy Yasbeck played Annie Young who Ben (John Ritter) falls in love with. In the first movie she plays Flo the women who Bens married too. lol i thought that was kind of cool

Problem Child 3 was a TV-movie, while the first two were theatrical films. Only Jack Warden and Gilbert Gottfried returned for part 3. I think they also did the animated series.

As for Amy, John and the producers wanted to bring her back for part 2.

Yeah that's correct about Amy Yasbeck. The producers wanted her back since Flo was gone as a character,so they brought her back as Annie
