R.I.P David Bell
It seems john ritters first threes company character was not Jack Tripper but David Bell and david was not studying to be a chef but he was trying to get into movies, it seemed more like man about the house the britcom threes company was taken from, I guess thats why they named the 1st TC episode man about the house, I guess it was fred silverman of ABC that told them to hire somers and dewitt there by replacing valerie cutain and susann zenor then ordering a new pilot, however john remained the star, and in the rewriting the character of david bell was erased from exsistance and the character of Jack tripper was born. the ep of man about the house that was accepted to run on abc was the 3rd pilot and almost identical to the 1st with cutain and zenor almost even word for word, something else seemed to change too mr roper, his first name stanley was changed from george and allthough mrs ropers 1st name as I recall was not mentioned in the 1st pilot i think it was supposed to be mildred. Well David bell had 1 shot at life thats hollywood i guess so id just like to say Rest In Peace David Bell
