Does anyone think Mama's Family is slowly going off TBS? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Ever since this Monday, TBS has been airing "Bloopers" for 10 mins between 6AM and 6:10AM, and when Mama comes on, there are hardly any advertising for the show. Naturally, it's a blessing to have a show with one commercial in between parts. But doesn't that mean there are no more advertisers wanting to pay for the show? Maybe TBS will now pay for the show, but this is very strange. I just thought because a movie ran into 6AM and they cut in with Bloopers, but today was the 3rd time it happened.

Well, I hope not.

I did, however, search Yahoo TV for Mama's Family for the next two weeks and they only list MF through Dec. 31 (Friday).

I looked some more...By now, they should have listings up to 1/5/05 but when I checked the TBS portion of my listings, TBS only had TV listings for their channel through 12/31.

I don't think so - I think MF is still safe for now.

Well, it's around until the end of January, at least.

Only schedule change in January is Ed at Noon, replacing the extra Saved by the Bell

I've noticed this also...I hope it doesn't go off the air. Maybe this Bloopers show is just for the holidays or something. Let's hope so.

I have seen the entire show that these bloopers are coming from. In one segment, Mama is there and chats with Dick Clark about the Mama's Family/Carol Burnett Show/ and Vicki Show bloopers. THEY ARE ABSOLUTELY HYSTERICAL!!! I think I sent a screencap from it to PZelda, and they were on the DVD that I sent to eroticdita. I hope they show that segment sometime becuase the recording I have of it isn't very good quality.
