I happened to be watching some old FRIENDS episodes and Rachel is looking for a nanny.....she opens the door and to my surprise ... there stands JR.... It was not a bad one either.... Jr is a cutie patootie... of course, he's no "chico" in character but we gotta give him credit....

I saw that episode he played a male nanny.
I can't wait to see anything else that he's on. The fame that he's achieving is destined to him by his father.

I love the way you put that Pitooey, and oh so true. I hope FPJ understands how true that is. By the way, I love Freddie's Santa hat

I love your statement too...Jr. is carrying on where his dad left off, with his movie roles and the possiblity of a sitcom as noted on another thread on this board.
I saw that episode of Friends as well--just loved how Jr. played the sensitive male hee hee! I am sure it was not much of a stretch, if he is anything like his father in terms of personality. |

A very profound statement. First and formost "The Lord" is what gives Freddie Jr. his destiny. BUT Fred Jr. must be in contac with his father because it is his father who achieved his fame first. When his father passed away "We" (his fans) never knew Fred Sr. was in such turnoil. So Sr. took the only route he could at the time. "We" (the fans) knew how much he loved his son. Fred Sr. always gushed about his son. So when he unexpectantly died he left behind someone he dealry, dearly loved. I believe Fred's soul cannot rest (that's why Jr. is able to talk to his father). From the beginning of Fred Jr's career he said that he feels his father's spirit inside him and he has to clean up the family name. Fred Jr. knows this. It's a tough thing to bear but "We" (the fans) know what is driving Fred Jr's career. Inside of Fred Jr. is his father. I know Fred Jr. sometimes is not happy to carry the burden of his name. But he feels the love from his father seeping through every pore of his being. |

I have seen the Friends shows advertized on ebay so I knew he was in one. I remember when he made a brief appearance on Family Matters.... it was a bit part at the end when people were turning in guns.... he was only a teenager when he did that, one of his first roles.
My all time favorite movie with him in it is still Head over Heels.... I can so see his dad doing this kind of movie and Jr did a great job in it. |

In the beginning of this movie I always say he looked a little nervous but, as the role continued he busted out like Gangbusters. You GO JR!
