TBS has acquired the rights to the hour long comedy Ed and will air it weekdays at 12 noon ET starting Monday, January 17, 2005, replacing two episodes of Saved by the Bell.

Oh I hope this is true. This is the best show ever and I have been having withdrawals ever since it left the NBC lineup. All those interested check out Stuckeyville.com. A great friendly community.

Bad news Ed fans:

Effective Friday, July 1, 2005, TBS will add Becker to its afternoon line-up and air it weekdays at 12 pm and 12:30pm ET, replacing Ed. Ed will not be airing anywhere else in the line-up.

Is there ANY possible way that TBS will change their mind????
Or will they air ED in the NEAR future?
If not what on earth happened?
Why are they taking this show out in the middle of season 2???

i thought it ran it's course well.. and if they were to reinstate it.. it wouldnt be the same anyway.
