Question Do you remember this TV show?

Does anyone remember this tv show? I always think about it, but I can't remember what it was called!

It was about a family that lived in a pretty big house, and they had a lot of either adopted or foster kids.

I only really remember one episode. In it, the family was at a zoo or park of some sort. A photographer was going to take a picture of the family. He asked one of the girls to move out of the way so he could take it. However, she was a member of the family. He just assumed she wasn't because she was of a different race than the rest of the family.

Sound familiar to anyone? It's been bugging me for years! It was probably shown in the mid-1990's.

Thank you for your help! It's been driving me crazy!

I asked my mom, and she guessed "Eight is Enough" and "The Facts of Life", but I know it is neither of those shows.

Sounds to me like the short-lived drama series "Second Noah" which aired on ABC sometime around 1996 or 1997 on TGIF. It starred James Marsden and a bunch of other unknowns. It was about a family who lived on a make-shift farm type thing and had a lot of foster kids. I remember watching this show a few times, James Marsden's Ricky got his girlfriend Darby pregnant. It wasn't so bad.

I don't think it's Second Noah...

This programme is very familiar and the parents had foster kids (including a Chinese girl). It was a sitcom, not a drama series. I'll go a searching! I do know what programme you mean Ashelian.

I doubt it's Facts of Life or 8 is Enough... as those are late 70's / early 80's shows.

Oh great, now I'm left with a tv show I can't remember the name of. I looked up all the titles above and the one I'm thinking of is none of the above!

If anyone's still interested, the one I know also has a hispanic girl. They have like 3 boys and 2 girls (all different races). Again live ina big house and I think the father was a coach at school. It was shown in the 1990's maybe early 2000's.

There was a show on T-NBC called "One World" that fits this description...and it even had a Chinese girl.

Yes that's the one... ONE WORLD (1998-2000)... thanks JT. I've looked it up on sitcomsonline.com and it is the one. It ran for 3 seasons too!

I was going to say The Torkelsons...until I got to the place with the non-white girl.
