Default Not Looking Good For My Mom

Well, it's not looking too good for my mom. She had surgery on Dec. 23rd and they could only remove so much. The cancer has spread everywhere and she has refused to do chemotherapy. Now, today this physiotherapist came to see her to ask her about doing some therapy and my mom refused.
I get the feeling that my mom has given up and wants to die in peace.

Tomorrow, my father will go to see her alone and have a talk with her to tell her that if she wants to come home which she does; she will have to start doing some therapy to get better to be released. If she keeps refusing then it will get to the point where she will be placed in a home.

We'll have to wait and see what she decides to do but she will have to make a decision soon because she can't stay at the hospital for much longer unless she dies there very soon. I will keep you all posted as I find out more.

Sad Here's An Update

My mom is now in the "Palliative Care Ward" of the hospital so now it's just a matter of time. She has refused all treatments and so we have to just make the most of the time we have left with her.

It's so hard to see her lying there in pain and suffering; hope she goes real soon because I know that's what she wants. Of course, I will miss her terribly along with my father and brothers and sister not to mention what's left of her own family which is one sister and one brother and two sister-in-laws'.

I still can't believe that this happened to her; she didn't deserve this.
One of my friends' well her mother is not lucky too. She's diabetic and now just the other day found out that she's in the early stages of alzheimer's disease. It's always the good ones that suffer and die at such a young age.

IT'S NOT FAIR!!

Default Mom Finally Passed Away

Well, it's all over; mom passed away last night. Unfortunately, we didn't make it in time but we were all there to say good bye and everything.

The only two who were not there were my brother Charles but he had gone by in the afternoon and my sister Nancy (lives in Montana).

Now, she's resting in peace and not suffering anymore (thank god).

So sorry to hear that. As you said, at least she is peacefully resting in heaven rather than suffering. May God bless her soul and my condolences go out to your family.

Please accept my condolences on the loss of your mother. It's hard to accept now but at least she is out of pain.
