The late Jim Backus' wife Henny Backus died on December 9th at the age of 93. She was in a Gilligan's Island episode playing the mother of the native girl who wanted to marry Gilligan.

Yep. The first colored ep. too which will be included on GI: Season 2 on DVD next month. Too bad she won't live to see it.

But at least now she is back with Jim. They were a special couple.
