I saw i think it was on penn and tillers Bull s%*t that i saw the true story of heidi wyrick and they exposed the family as perputrating a hoax i dont remember exactly how they did it but if you get showtime with penn and tiller you might see it one day.

The Heidi Wyrick haunting is a hoax? That stinks, I thought that story about her seeing her dead neighbors was really fascinating. I don't get the Showtime network, so I had no idea that it was all a hoax. The Wyrick's should be ashamed of themselves; what a childish thing to do. They even made little Heidi lie on TV.

Does anybody have any more info on this? I googled "Heidi Wyrick" and didn't find anything about Penn and Teller or the case being a hoax. However, I wouldn't be surprised to find out that it was a hoax.

I Dont think you will have to worry about seeing con gordys ghost anyway it was an actor that played him. But i know what you mean.

Last night (12/26) I watched a 2 hour documentary on A&E about Heidi Wyrick, it was called "Haunting in Georgia". It's been on TV before and I'm surprised that it was on TV again, since the whole thing was a hoax. Has anyone else seen this documentary on A&E?

trust me im a rare one that has met the totaly polite.nice and honest family the story is 110% tru im one of the few ppl that got to hear the story personaly from heidi and she did tell me that she comes on web site where you can post things about the show she says its ridiculos some things the ppl post trust me the stoyr is the real deal
