and Fred was on stage together in the episode-"My Fair Esther"? That was one of the episode when she was made up pretty nicely and didn't look bad. Thoughts?

I believe that LaWanda Page was once a dancer when she was younger, and I agree with Solomon, I actually thought that Esther looked attractive when she was dressed up and had make-up...

She actually got her show biz start as a burlesque dancer, not a stripper, and yes, there IS a difference. I've seen photos of her in her younger days and IMO she certainly looked fine enough to be a burlesque dancer.

I always though Aunt Esther was attractive. I thought she was much prettier than Lamont's girlfriend, Janet. Ugh, Janet was a sore for sight eyes.

I also thought she was kind of pretty as a dancer in the Seargent Gork episode. At least she still had a figure. Lamont's Janet was wayyyyyy too skinny in my opinion. Her arms looked very emaciated. Just MO.
