Ooh, I forgot about "The Outing" and "The Opposite."
Episodes like "The Soup Nazi" and "The Yada Yada" are great, but they play them SO MANY TIMES in syndication that I can't stand to watch them anymore, I'm so sick of them. |

The Glasses - Where Elaine gets bitten by a dog and George is wearing goggels, etc. The Outing is also a great one.

There are so many good ones to choose from...but if I had to take just one, it would be "The Opposite." It's kind of charming to see things finally go George's way, although you do feel sorry for poor Elaine as her life plummets ("Don't you see -- I'm George!" she laments at the end, wearing disheveled clothes and glasses to add to the effect). Add the "Regis & Kathie Lee" appearance by Kramer -- he really was "bonkos," Regis -- and Jerry's mystification at how everything in his life evens out (loved the look on Elaine's face after she threw the $20 bill out the window), and you have sitcom brilliance.
Others right up there include "The Outing" and "The Contest." |
