Does anyone remember an Unsolved Mysteries segment about a woman who disappeared after a car accident on a highway? I don't get to watch the Lifetime reruns as often as I'd like, so I don't know if this has been shown recently or not...but it was originally broadcast during the early run of the series on NBC. If I remember correctly, the woman was in her early 30's and had been a little depressed...thinking her life was passing her by. The segment included a picture she had taken of herself in a mirror and there was a real look of sadness in her eyes. The accident happened at night and involved at least 2 cars. The woman left her vehicle and watched the rescue efforts from a safe distance away before she left the area. Police speculate she might have hit her head and developed amnesia. Does this case sound familar to anyone? I have always wondered if there were any updates and hoped she would eventually be reunited with her family.

Yes I remember that one. The woman's name was Patricia Meehan. It seems like there were sightings of her possibly hitchhiking and witnesses she said seemed sad and some even reported seeing her crying. A very sad case. As far as I know she hasn't been found. Here is her Doe Network page:

Thanks, Crystaldawn. That is the case I was thinking of. Sorry to learn she is still missing. Do you know if her case has ever been shown on Lifetime?

Yes I know it has because I've taped it off of Lifetime.
