To me, Boy Meets World is the kind of show that could have gone on for a lot longer than it did. I grew up with Cory, Shawn and Topanga. I mean, the title might have to be changed, but I'd like to see more of Cory and Topanga's marriage. And Shawn Hunter is the type of character that never gets boring. He should of had a spin-off when BMW came to an end, but I doubt Rider Stronger would have done it. And Eric just got funnier and funnier as the show went on.

Course, they could have had a new title called "Girl Meets World" where Morgan is the focus and her friends. But now that I think about it, maybe that wouldn't be a very good show.

If BMW went on for another season, it would be yet another sitcom overstaying its welcome.

Eric got a whole lot dumber out of thin air, totally contradicting everything he was earlier in life.

The storylines got boring.

The central characters were all too old. Cory and Shawn worked up until the first year of college, then it just got ridiculous. They're good actors, but their characters aren't written for guys in theirf early-mid 20's.

BMW basically lost the zest that was so apparent in the show's best years.

But there are fans out there who would have loved it if the show went on until ... heck ... Eric is in his mid-30's and Cory in his early '30's

I REALLY liked the first couple seasons. I think Cory is a lot cooler in these ones! Too old in the later ones if you ask me... I like to watch shows where the characters are within a couple years of my age (I am 13).

For me, the character is very "cool" up until the junior year of high school; then he begins to slip a little, but not too much. The first year at the university is good; but the show should have ended there, after the first year.
Aside from a couple really good episodes per season, BMW is really gasping for air by this time.
