Default Were scripts written for 4th season?

Can anyone confirm this? I thought
I'd read it somewhere, but not sure where. If so, with the popularity of the show, I'm surprised they've never been published. Also, was it definate Tina was gonna be written out of the show, or were there just rumors?

Thumbs up

Believe I saw Mr. Schwartz say that as well, on a TVLand special.
Prior to being bumped by Gunsmoke because of a 'number of programs' issue, methinks he said he had some scripts in the can, nothing filmed, but stuff was written, and ideas were ready.
Wouldabeenhot.

hehehehehe

I wonder what the plots were. I read somewhere that Tina Louise was going to leave the show and Ginger would get rescued and her character would be replaced with two other characters. I don't remember where I saw this but I also read somewhere that there was going to be an episode with Pirates or something. To bad it never got its fourth season. But if there was a final episode where they got rescued I wonder if that means that there would not have been the three TV movies and possibly no Gilligan's Planet. Some things some times were out for the best

After checking out the outlines I have to say thank goodness there wasn't a fourth season. Some of these have to be jokes. I'm wondering how much truth is involved here.

Ditto.
I probably wouldn't have liked the show nearly as much.(My family might have been thankful for that though)

Ditto here too, although they could have had a season where Gilligan and Mary Ann and Professor and Ginger might have gotten together....ok ok I'll refrain from going into the cuteness of that , but yeah, even though in my opinion Ginger could be real arrogant sometimes the show never would have been the same without Ginger. And how could Ginger get away without telling somebody about the other castaways?

Skipper: (Talking about Gilligan) I don't dislike him. I mean, it's just that I'd like to kill him every now and then.

Gilligan: Mrs. Howell, I might blow up.
Lovey: Oh, don't you dare get angry with me!
