Any update on Women w/son Raped while Boating - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Does anyone have an update on this sad and sadistic case? Here is what I remember.

A women and her young son are enjoying a day on the water in a small row boat. At first everything is fine but when they encounter 2 guys in another boat, things quickly change for the worse.

The 2 guys (described as red-neck, low life types) abduct the women and her young child. They then force the women to drink alcohol and with the child watching repeatdly rape the helpless women.

Have you ever heard of a crime like this? I mean, rape is bad enough but to do it in front of a child is unthinkable!! I hope these 2 were eventually caught.

If you have an update, please fill me in.

People who would commit a crime like that are in desperate need of a chainsaw to the knees. That poor boy is proably in counseling for the rest of his life. I bet the rapists had a great laugh afterwards.

Very sick and sad case. I remember how creppy the re-enactment was. Kind of reminds me of deliverance.

I asked about this very same case a few months back. I don't think there has been an update. I REALLY want to see a resolution to this story. It is very tragic.
