Default Extension of Molly Bish grand jury

http://www.thebostonchannel.com/news...41/detail.html

Early this year, I mentioned on this board that a grand jury was being conducted in the Molly Bish case. Although it was slated to end last month, the district attorney has decided to extend the grand jury for another six months.

The fact that the evidence recovered in Molly's abduction and murder is frustratingly slim has not prevented the cops from attempting to solve the case. John Bish, Molly's father, considers the extension to be a sign of dedication to solving the case.

Although we may have to prepare for the long hau, let's hope there is an eventual resolution to the case.

I am in MA too. I hope they find the sicko who did this. Could he be the same person responsible for the Holly Peranian or Sarah Pryor murders. For those of you not from here thease cases were big news here.
Another case that they featured from MA was the case of the Girl from Worcester in a coma who proformed miracles.

I've been following this case, among others, for a little while, and I'm wondering what the chances are that this case will be solved. I think it's great, of course, that the cops are committed to solving the case, but is it possible with the lack of evidence? I don't know as much about it as others, but without having a concrete cause of death, how could there possibly be a conviction? It is fairly obvious that she was murdered, but can anyone really prove it? I'd be interested to hear what all of you have to say.

It is believed that various weather elements had washed away some potential evidence. So, admittedly, the amount of evidence recovered is limited. Nevertheless, there is always the chance of seeing this case solved. It's just a question of time. So let's never give up hope that it could one day be solved--unless you really want to make Molly's killer happy!

Besides, many cold cases have been solved. A lot of them were even tougher than the Molly Bish case. In addition, they were unsolved far longer than Molly's murder. And those who don't believe that should look at some true examples, such as the Green River murders and the Lisa Marie Kimmell murder. Those cases took many years to solve (21 years and 16 years, respectively).

I'm from NH and have also followed this case. I really hope they do find the killer. What about the sketch and the white car? What ever came of that? Didn't someone, somewhere match the sketch and had a white car from Palmer, Ma? I also remember the Holly Perranian( sp?) case. And Sara Pryor she went missing in the 70's and they just found her body about 5 or so years ago. Do you think they are related in anyway?

Sarah Pryor went missing in 1984 Aprox. and her bones were discovered in 2000 or 2001.
As far as Molly goes I agree with you all, I want to see her killer caught and brought to justice. I also agree with those of you who spoke of cold old cold cases being solved. Just look at A&E's Cold Case Files. Caes have been solved 40 and 50 years later. So, there is always hope.

Actually, Sarah Pryor went missing in 1985. Her remains were found in 1995, but they were not positively identified as hers until two years later. She was laid to rest in January 1998.

Yeah, you're right, I guess. Even though there are barriers to solving the case, it's important to remain committed to working out the case. I truly do hope that they find something of significance through the grand jury. I guess it isn't all that unrealistic that the case could be solved. After all, many people had given up hope of ever finding Molly, which they did, albeit not in the way that we had hoped.

Default McGuigan book?

I was watching 48 hours awhile ago, and they talked about how this ex cop time McGuigan was writing a book about this case and possible connections to the Holly Piiranian case. Does anyone know anything about this book getting published? I thought it might be an interesting read. Thanks.
