Default Christmas Episodes of a TV Sitcom that just didn;t hold your interest?

For me it was Sanford and Son. That show only had one Christmas episode and it was DRY from start to finish.

I agree, Barney Miller only had about three episodes that were considered a Christmas Theme, and they were all lousy..and for the Sanford and Son episode you commented on, I also agree, it was boring.

The only good thing about the Sanford and Son Christmas episode is when Fred sung the "Christmas Song" at the end

About that was about it, seeing that part when Lamont plays Father Time was pretty lame, especially when he appeared as The Future dressed as an astronaunt

There are two Christmas episodes I know of offhand that did not hold my interest, and they were the two from Perfect Strangers. Granted, PS is one of my favorite shows, but the plots were really lame.

One had the cousins stranded in their apartment during a blizzard, and Larry lamented because it was his turn that year (1986) to hand out presents at his folks' home up in Madison, Wisconsin. He wouldn't get to hand them out again until 1995 since he is one of nine siblings. (FWIW, this year he will.) In the end the blizzard won and Larry gave up on trying to go up there. A much better plot would be the adventures the two take trying to get there, in as many ways as possible, and eventually making it there, possibly in a two-parter.

The other one was the company Christmas party at the cousins' apartment, and Sam Gorpley was making negative comments on all the gifts. Larry kicked him out, but Balki brought him back (which I thought was uncalled for).

I didn't think there were either.

And ditto. I can't think of a bad one.
