Nice preview. I think I like the original movie better with Gene Wilder as Willy Wonka. The movie is going to be a remake of a 1971 classic "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory". I have the original on VHS.

I'm looking forward to it. Charlie And The Chocolate Factory and Charlie And The Great Glass Elevator were my favorite novels as a kid, and when I finally saw the film adaptation of the first novel (Willy Wonka And The Chocolate Factory), I was really disappointed.

The reason Roald Dahl didn't like the 1971 film is because it took its own liberties and really didn't follow the book closely enough.

Anyway, this looks like it will be a nice adaptation. Kudos to Burton and Depp for doing justice to Roald Dah's book.

The trailer looks awesome! Sort of reminds me of Tim Burton's Pee Wee Herman movie, only ten times better. Depp's accent is sort of weird- I wasn't sure what to expect with him playing Wonka.

Btw, is it just me, or was the dentist in the trailer Christopher Lee? He's in the film as Wonka's Dad in flashback scenes (sort of like Edward Scissorhands), so it wouldnt surprise me if it was him.
