This is a mall located in Northeast Michigan anchored by JCPenney
with about 25 tenants. Here is the official website:

God, I'm from Michigan and I know better than to go to Alpena. There's nothing up there except snow and... snow. One of my friends in Germany grew up in Alpena. She said they had a contest one year where you mark out a field and wait for a cow to poop in your square. That's their idea of fun

So I think I'll skip the wonderful Alpena Mall

I haven't been to Alpena in about 5 years so I haven't seen the mall yet. I have friends who live way up there and they are certainly glad to have a mall! They used to have to go down to Midland or Bay City or west to Traverse City to find a mall! In a way I think that it is sad that Northern Michigan is growing so fast! It is fast losing its charm! I llive in the Flint area about 3 hours south of Alpena.) Alpena is right on Lake Huron. It's a nice town!

Probably to see whose town got the smallest mall?

Detroit has some nice malls. There's one near the Palace that's really nice. I can't think of the name of it though.

I agree about the UP. We went there one year for vacation and it was just nature, nature, nature. I did like Mackinac Island though. And being from Michigan I can even pronounce it!

It is Great Lakes Crossing in Auburn Hillls. Home of The Palace. I have never been there. I hate malls!
