Default Wings off N@N?

I've decided to start posting, rather than just lurking, because I was wondering if anyone knew if Wings was being "cancelled" by Nick @ Nite next week. My cable guide shows that next Tuesday-into-Wednesday will have Fresh Prince all night on both Nick and Nick2 instead of Wings at 4-5 on Nick and at 7-8 on Nick2.

I watched it periodically when it was originally aired, and only recently realized how good this show really was. Now I'm devastated at the thought that it won't be on anymore and it's killing me even worse that it's not on DVD yet (yes, I've voted everywhere I can).

Ideas anyone?

No Wings is on N@N through the end of January, it doesn't leave N@N till Murphy Brown joins the lineup

Your cable guide must be wrong

Well, according to Time Warner here in NYC, Fresh Prince is on all night Monday into Tuesday and all night Tuesday into Wednesday. They only give you programming a week at a time, so I can't see any further than next Wednesday.

But I do hope you're right and they haven't changed their minds over at N@N.

I know that TV Land will still have Wings, but I wish that they'd also pick up Ned and Stacey, because WE doesn't seem to be using the episodes anymore for some reason. I'm pretty sure they have N&S for a while.

Well, I did some more digging during lunch, and went to Yahoo!'s TV site. They show that Wings will be pre-empted by an all-night marathon of Fresh Prince for every night next week but that Wings will be back on (I believe) Friday-night-into-Saturday. but DEFINITELY Saturday-night-into-Sunday.

Here's part of the schedule that explains what I'm getting at: http://tv.yahoo.com/tvpdb?d=tvp&cf=u...4&title=Wings&

This is in addition to the TVLand showings on Fridays.

So confusing...

Anyway, I'm buying tapes so that I'll at least be able to record episodes off my DVR going forward.

And I did check out that thread. It DOES mention a Fresh Prince marathon for next week.

Whew. We're safe for the time being!

Great! I'm glad you got that figured out

I had forgotten about that Fresh Prince Marathon, at least we have the Friday Marathons on TVLAND

I'm rather embarrassed to admit this, but I only recently learned to appreciate Wings. I'd watched it when it was first on, but only sporadically. But with my DVR, I can record the morning episodes and watch them that night. But I'd been deleting the episodes because I figured they'd continue for a while.

Obviously, I was wrong. So I'm trying to make up for lost time and get as many episodes as I can on tape. Unfortunately, I don't yet have a DVD recorder.

I'm starting to tape them now too, I figured N@N would keep it for awhile. Figures when the ratings are doing fairly well for it, they're about to drop it, isn't that the way it always works?
