TV LAND SCORES MOST-WATCHED YEAR EVER FOR 2004

Original and Classic Hit Programming Advances Net to Highest Audience Levels in

Nearly 10 Year History

Santa Monica, CA, December 8, 2004 – With three weeks remaining in 2004, TV Land is currently pacing to earn its most-watched year ever among total viewers on a total programming day basis. Bolstered by its slate of new, original programming such as Still Brady…After All These Years and the Top 10 series, as well as classics The Andy Griffith Show and All in the Family, the network will finish the year averaging 496,000 total viewers on a total day basis, +4% over last year.

For the year, according to Nielsen Media Research (12/29/03-12/5/04), TV Land posted in total programming day a 0.3/255,000 among Adults 25-54. TV Land averaged a 0.4/353,000 A25-54 in prime time and 780,000 total viewers.

TV Land 2004 Performance Highlights:

· Nearly 1.5 million total viewers welcomed America’s favorite TV family, The Brady Bunch, back into their homes after 35 years for TV Land’s original one-hour special, Still Brady…After All These Years on Sunday, September 26 (10 p.m. all times ET/PT). The telecast increased total audience levels by +186% over last year’s time period. Among TV Land’s target demo of Adults 25-54, the special scored a 1.1/1 million, marking a strong +175% increase in rating and +203% in delivery over last year’s time period – recording the network’s highest audience levels for an original telecast among its target A25-54 audience.

· TV Land’s second annual awards show, The TV Land Awards: A Celebration of Classic TV, attracted almost over 1.8 million total viewers for its Wednesday, March 17 (9:00-11:15 p.m. ET/PT) telecast -- +38% more than the inaugural awards show last year. In addition to the strong total viewer audience, TV Land also had strong gains among Adults 18-49, earning a 0.7/697,000, +17% higher in rating than last year’s show. Overall, approximately 24 million people tuned in to the second annual TV Land Awards on TV Land and Nick at Nite.

· The premiere of TV Land’s Top 10: TV Dads (6/16/04 at 10 p.m.) averaged a 0.6/581,000, a +50% increase in rating and a +51% rise in delivery over last year. Among persons 2+, the show drew an average of 855,000 total viewers. TV Land’s Top 10: The Andy Griffith Show (7/21/04 at 10 p.m.) posted a 0.7/639,000, up +40% in rating and +53% in delivery over last year. Among persons 2+, the show delivered 1.3 million total viewers, an increase of +44% from last year.

· Among TV Land’s acquired classic programming, All in the Family is posting a 0.5/458,000 in prime time (8:00-11:00 p.m. ET/PT). Among persons 2+, the show delivered 930,000 total viewers, a +14% lift over prior-year levels. The Andy Griffith Show is posting a 0.4/382,000 in prime time. Among persons 2+, the show delivered 908,000 total viewers, a +6% lift over prior-year levels.

· In the late night early fringe hours, Three's Company continues to thrive at 11:00 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. ET/PT.

Wow, that means the TV Land Awards got approximately 22.2 Million viewers on N@N, but only 1.8 Million viewers on TVLand itself??

N@N is that much more widespread??

N@N is that much more widespread??
No, 24 million viewers saw at least "a part of it" combined on both networks. The 1.8 million part is the overall average for TV Land. Like on Desperate Housewives, I read that over 27 million viewers saw the last episode on average, but at least over 45 million saw a part of it.

so, what i'm reading here basically says that All in the Family is TV Land's #1 most-watched show, right?
