June (making cookies)
Beaver (comes in from school slamming door) Hi Mom!
June (cringes) Beaver, I asked you time after time to not slam the door.
Beaver (pouring milk) Sorry mom.
June (getting him cookies) How was your day?
Beaver (perks up) Good! We got this new kid and he's really neat!
June: Oh yeah, what's his name?
Beaver: Ricky Ricardo and he's a junior!
June (confused) A junior?
Beaver: Yeah, he's named after his dad and he's famous!
June (smiles) Oh? I don't think I've heard of him.
Beaver: They moved here from New York and his dad is a nightclub singer and he even did a movie called um...um oh yeah, Don Juan!
June (thinking) Hmm.. I don't think I've seen that movie.
Beaver: Can I invite him over for the weekend?
June: Well honey, we need to ask your father and meet his parents.
Beaver (excited) Ok!

Later....

Ward (walks in) Honey, I'm home!
June (comes in from kitchen) Hi!
Ward (kisses her) Hi sweetheart. (goes to livingroom and sits down)
June (sits in his lap) How was your day?
Ward (loosening his tie) Oh usual. How was yours?
June (thinking) usual.
Ward (chuckles) I guess we have usual lives.
June (smiles) I guess so.
Ward (smells the air) Is that pot roast I'm smelling?
June (smiles) Yes it is.
Ward (flirting tone) Well, what did I do to deserve my favorite dinner?
June (cuddles up to him) It's because you are the best husband. (kisses him)
Ward: Aw...thank you baby. (kissing her)
Beaver (enters...watching them and clears his throat) Dad?
Ward (stops kissing her and sighs) You have bad timing son.
June (smiles) Ward!
Beaver: Sorry dad.
Ward: What can I do for you son?
Beaver: Can I invite my new friend over for the weekend?
Ward: New friend?
Beaver: Yeah, his name is Ricky Ricardo and he's a junior!
Ward (confused) A junior?
June (smiles) He's named after his father.
Ward (smiles) Oh. Well son, I think that it's ok as long as we meet his parents first.
Beaver (excited) Here's his number!
June (gets up from Ward's lap) Well, I better go check on dinner.
Beaver: Mom, thanks for softening dad up.
June (turns around) I wasn't softening him up.
Ward (smiles) Could have fooled me.
June (smiles and rolls her eyes) I gotta check on dinner.
Beaver (sits down) You gonna call him dad?
Ward: After dinner son.
Beaver (tells Ward all about Ricky)

Later at dinner...

Ward (chewing) Oh honey this roast hits the spot and it is delicious!
June (smiles) Thank you honey.
Wally: Yeah mom it's great.
Beaver: Next time can we have it without carrots?
Ward: Son, what's a roast without carrots?
June: Besides you like carrots.
Beaver: Yeah, I guess their ok. Dad, can we barbeque when Ricky spends the night?
Ward: Sure, I don't see why not.
Beaver: Don't forget to call his dad.
Ward (finishing dinner) I will right now. (on the phone) Hi Mr. Ricardo?
Ricky: Yes?
Ward: My name is Ward Cleaver, are boys are friends.
Ricky: Oh yes, how are you?
Ward: Fine and you?
Ricky: Fine, what can I do for you?
Ward: Well, my boy wants to invite your son over this weekend to spend the night and I thought we could arrange to have you and your wife and Ricky over tommorrow night about 7 for cake and coffee to get to know one another.
Ricky: That sounds great. I know we have no other plans..so why not?
Ward: Great! (gives him the address) Ok see you at 7!
Ricky: Thanks bye!
Beaver (listening) Thanks dad!
Ward: you bet son. Now go do your homework.
Beaver (runs upstairs) Ok dad!

In kitchen....

June (doing dishes)
Ward (comes up behind her and wraps his arms around her) That was a very charming dinner honey...thank you. (kisses her neck)
June (squirming and giggling) Thank you. Did you call Mr. Ricardo?
Ward: Yes and it's all set for tommorrow night at 7.
June (turns around) Ok...just cake and coffee?
Ward: Yes honey (grabs a dishtowel and starts drying dishes) Boy, I hope that if Ricky stays it doesn't turn out like when larry stayed and they kept us up most of the night.
June (stops washing and looks funny at him) Oh yeah it couldn't be all that love making....could it?
Ward (chuckles and kisses her) Oh yeah, that too.

Next night....Doorbell rings

Ward and June (opens the door)

They all greet each other and the boys go upstairs and all of them sit in livingroom talking.

Ricky and Ward (talking about golf and stuff)
Lucy: June, I just love your home it's beautiful.
June: Thank You Lucy.
Lucy: I see alot of decorating ideas for our new home.
Ricky (shoots her a look) Lucy! Don't get any ideas!
Lucy: Oh push tush.
Ricky: Nevermind push tush!
Ward/June (smile and look at each other)
Ricky (talking to Ward) All that woman does is spend money.
Ward: We don't have that problem here.
Ricky: How do you manage that?
Ward: June's good at managing her allowance.
Lucy: June, we should get together sometime, I don't know anyone around here.
June: Sure I would love it. I could get you in the mother's club.
Ward: We can play golf at my country club sometime if you want.
Ricky: sure!
Ward: Honey how about the cake and coffee?
June (jumps up) Oh my! I forgot!
Lucy: I'll help you.

In the kitchen....

June (getting coffee and cake ready) So are you and Ricky always that entertaining?
Lucy (laughs) Oh that. Well no, he usually don't say much in front of people we don't know. I just love to shop.
June: Me too, but I always try to take it easy because Ward is good about understanding my needs.
Lucy: Well, you take care of the boys and the home...don't you?
June: Yes.
Lucy: Well then you deserve to reward yourself every now and then.
June: oh I do. For example, Ward knows I need the femine frills to make me feel sexy and good.
Lucy: Sure and he likes that as well...right?
June (blushing) well yes.
Lucy: Well some men don't understand that it takes money and work to look good for them.
June (points) You have a good point there.
Lucy: That settles it we need to go shopping.
June: Ok! Let's get this stuff out to the guys.
Lucy (carrying the cake) ok.
June (carrying the coffee)
Ward (takes coffee tray from her) Thank you honey.
Ricky (eating cake) This is great cake June.
Ward: yeah honey. (to ricky) She's a great cook. (winks at her) So you two get to know each other some?
Lucy (devious look on her face) We sure are.
Ward (laughs) Well Rick, from the look on Lucy's face I'd say that out beautiful little wives have an agenda.
Ricky (stops eating and looks at Lucy) Well?
Lucy (angelic look on her face) Well what dear?
Ward (looking at June) You have anything to confess?
June (eating) No honey.
Ricky (talking to Ward) I hope Lucy isn't trying to taint your wife any.
Ward (laughs) Oh I think she'll be fine.
June (nudges Ward)
Ward (smiles) Hey Rick, why don't we play golf on Saturday?
Ricky: Saturday's good for me.
June (interupts) Ward...we will have Ricky over remember? I could use some help.
Ricky: I'll tell ya what June, I'll bring Lucy over to keep you company so you will have the whole day to get to know each other.
Ward (kisses June) There you go honey. (winks at her)
Lucy: Wait a minute...you guys expect us to sit here all day supervising the boys alone while you go have fun tootin' off to a golf game? What if we wanted to do something?
Ward: You girls can do something some other time.
June/Lucy (roll their eyes)

Wally (walks in) Mom, I'm home.
June: Hi honey, come here.
Ward: Son this is Mr. & Mrs. Ricardo.
Wally (shakes their hand)
Ward (to the Ricardos) This is our older boy Wally.
Wally: Nice to meet you both. Hey Mr. Ricardo, I know your song Babalu...it's really neat!
Ricky (smiles) Thanks Partner!
June (thinking) Wally honey, can I see you in the kitchen?
Wally (rubs his nose) Sure mom.

In kitchen....

June: Wally can you stay with Beaver and Ricky for a few hrs. in the morning until after lunch.
Wally (thinking) sure mom, I don't have plans until the evening. Why didn't you ask me out there?
June (stammering) well um well I just thought that...
Wally: Did dad ask you to stay home to be with the boys while he golfs?
June: Well yes and Mrs. Ricardo and I want to go shopping and well I think we should be able to go.
Wally: Well mom if dad said....
June: Please honey, I'll take the heat.
Wally: Ok.
June (hugs him) Thank you honey.
Lucy (walks in with dishes) Here we are June.
June: Thank you, I will do them later. Hey, Wally agreed to stay with the boys Saturday until after lunch for us, so we can go!
Lucy (excited) Ok! Thank You Wally.
Wally (walking out) no problem.
June/Lucy (shake hands)

Saturday.....doorbell rings

Ward (opens door and greets the Ricardos) Honey, their here!
June (walks in and greets them)
Ricky: The boys are outside tossing the football around.
Ward (getting golf clubs) Oh good. (goes to June) Ok honey gotta run (kisses her)
June (smiles) Have fun.
Ricky (kisses Lucy) Be good (pats her bottom)
Lucy (rubs it) Ow!
Ricky (chuckles) have a good day honey.

Guys leave

June (getting ready) Wally! We are going!
Wally(comes in) Ok mom, have fun but please be home before dad.
June (kisses him) I will honey.
Lucy (waves to wally) Bye wally and thanks!


Hours later.....
Ward/Ricky (arrive back to the Cleaver home)
Ward: Hi Wally, where's your mother?
Wally (stammering) Well um..
Ward (firm) Wally?
Wally (sighs) She and Mrs. Ricardo went shopping.
Ricky (cussing in Spanish)
Ward (sighs) I thought your mother understood that we wanted them here today.
Ricky: This is Lucy's idea, she knew she wasn't to shop for two weeks.
Ward: June never goes behind my back.
Ricky: I'm sorry amigo, it must be Lucy's influence.
Ward (shakes his head) No Rick, June is responsible for her actions.

Girls walk in...

June Walks in with bags and nervously says) Hi Ward.
Ward: Hi. (walks over to her and looks at her bags) We will discuss this later.
Lucy (hiding her bags behind her back) Ricky?
Ricky (goes to her) You knew better! When are you going to start obeying me?
Lucy (nervous) Can't we discuss this later?
Ricky (gets in her face) Bet on it...(getting louder) And all that is going back!!
Ward (firmly to June) Take that stuff upstairs please and lets play cards.
June (worried) Ward..
Ward (look of authority) We will discuss it later.
June (quietly) Yes honey
Ward (grabs her hand) It's ok honey, just take it upstairs. (kisses her)

Two weeks later....

Ward (in the den, going over bills) June! June! (calling her)
June (comes running in) what's wrong?
Ward (angry) Look at this credit card bill! You have been buying stuff without talking to me first!
June: I needed some things.
Ward (shouts) You needed some things? You have a closet full of clothes and besides all you have to do is communicate with me!
June (shouting back) Well you don't seem to mind the nighties I buy!
Ward (sighs) You told me you needed certain things to feel sexy and I never had a problem with that and yes, I like you wearing that stuff to bed...I'm a man and men like that stuff! You seem to have spirled out of control since Lucy so I guess Rick and I will set some limits with the two of you.

June (trying to calm down) Let me ask you something.
Ward: What?
June (verge of tears) Do you think that all the things I do around her are worth what I buy? Let's face it, you get alot of enjoyment out of some of that stuff.
Ward: will you forget about that for a minute?
June (starting to cry) Why can't you answer me? I'm not worth it? I do everything like a good little wife and I meet your other needs so why are you so angry about me spending some money? You never cared before. You want me to look nice for you and that takes work and money.
Ward (softens up and pulls her into his embrace) Oh honey you never have to work at looking good. (wipes her tears) Look, its just that you never go behind my back about these things and that's what really upset me, not so much the money. I'm sorry for yelling honey, I guess I just didn't realize how you were feeling.

June: I'm sorry I went so overboard. Can we sit for awhile?
Ward (takes her hand and leads her to the chair) Sure honey.
June (sits in his lap and puts her head on his shoulder)
Ward (speaking softly) Talk to me honey. What's wrong?
June (starts crying again) I don't know I guess I was wrong, I thought I deserved some things.
Ward (holding her) Oh honey, I don't dispute that, your the best mother and wife in the world and I guess sometimes we take you for granted but we sure don't mean to darlin'. I guess lately I've been wraped up in work and forget that you need my help at times. I'm sorry.
June: well I know you gotta work and your a wonderful provider so I understand.
Ward (wipes her tears) I'm going to make sure that I'm more considerate from now on but please tell me when I'm not being supportive or understanding in any way because I'm not a mind reader.
June (cuddles him) Ok.
Ward (softly kisses her)

Wally (pokes his head in the door) Dad, Mr.Ricardo says to be at the club at 7.
Ward: Ok son. (to June) Should we get ready?
June (smiles) Yes. (gets up from his lap)

At nightclub.....

Ricky (waves them over to the table)

Everyone greets each other...

Ward (orders champaign)
June: Champaign?
Ward (smiles and pours it) Sure honey, we don't do this often.
Ricky (to Lucy) You take it easy on this honey.
Lucy (drinking it) I will.
Everyone drinking and laughing...

Later...
Ward (reaches out for June) Wanna dance honey?
June (tipsy) Sure, I thought you would never ask!
Ricky (asks Lucy to dance)
Ward (holding June close and dancing) You look radient tonight.
June: You really think so?
Ward (whispers in her ear) Oh baby, I know so.
June (looking in his eyes) your so sweet and you still look at me like you did when we first fell in love. (pauses) Ward?
Ward (smiles) yes honey?
June (tipsy and gigling) Don't let me fall.
Ward (chuckles) I would never let you fall. (holds her closer)

Lucy (dancing with Ricky) Boy! It's hot in here!
Ricky (laughs) My drunk little monkey!

Dance over...they all sit down.

June (Kicking off her shoes and puts her feet on Ward's legs)
Ward (laughs) Baby, what are you doing?
June: my shoes hurt!
Lucy: Hey what do you say we go to the little girl's room Junie? (hiccups)
June (laughs hysterically) Yeah, I say it's time to pee!
Ward/Ricky (cracking up)
June/Lucy (walk and lean on each other.
Ward: Should we go get our double trouble duo?
Ricky: Na, give them 5 minutes, this could be entertaining. (laughs)
Ward (laughs) Yeah, I haven't seen June drunk in a long time.
Ricky: Same for Lucy. The last time she did, she was a replacement on a TV commercial and got frisky with me on camera...the alcohol makes her horney.
Ward (laughs) Well I must say it loosens June up as well, she's still kind of old-fashioned.
Ricky (nudges Ward and laughs) That can be fun too though...huh?
Ward (laughs) Yeah and sometimes a challange!

June/Lucy (staggering back out)
Ward: I think we should call it a night.
Ricky: Yes, I agree. They can barely walk as it is.

They all say goodnight...

Back at the Cleaver home...
Ward (opens door and helps June in)
Wally (comes in) Dad? You need help? (chuckles)
Ward (smiles) Yeah go get our bed ready.
Wally (laughs all the way upstairs) ok dad.(yells from upstairs)
Ward (trying to get June upstairs) Come on honey, lets get you to bed.
June (slurring her words) Ward?
Ward: What honey?
June: Am I a good girl?
Ward (laughs) Yes baby. (pats her butt) Come on honey.
June (looks up the stairs and sighs) Boy! That's alot of stairs!
Ward (holding her up) You want me to carry you?
June (closing her eyes) Yeah.
Ward (picks her up and carries her) Your gonna be fine honey.
Wally : You need anymore help dad?
Ward: No son just make sure everything is locked up. (puts June on the bed)
June (reaching out for Ward) I need you....(falling asleep)
Ward (smiles and kisses her) I'm here baby.

The Cleavers and Ricardos all went on to be friends forever!

that has got to be the best fanific yet! its wonderful, two of my favorite shows combined, and damn, june getting drunk with lucy was a scream
