We now own a DVD recorder with a VHS player so with the press of only one button, we can now transfer VHS tapes to DVD. It's already running.

This is one of the best purchases anyone could make. I have a video recorder on the computer and it makes archiving shows easier.

It was only $278 at Wal-Mart for a Sanyo. Darn good deal if you ask me.

You can probably get a lesser-known name brand for cheaper, probably >$250. Look on the internet.

Probably the price will get lower in the future. Remember when those things cost $1,000+ when they came out?

Yes... I remember them costing about $400 a couple of months ago.

I think I have about the same number as you.

I'm not particularly fond of Sanyo, but that one will have to do. I must get rid of my tapes now.

I've already got a VCR/DVD Player combo from Sanyo and I love it. I would rather buy it than some cheap brand I've never heard of like Symphonic.
