What line do you think is most memorable in a song? The line that stands out to you in the song? To me, in Oh Father by Madonna the line is, "You can't hurt me now." P.S. It should be ONE lyric that sticks out.

There's so many that I don't really have a favorite. But today the lyric that's sticking out is, "My favorite dreams of you still wash ashore." - Something I Can Never Have - Nine Inch Nails.

This line from Jim Croce's "Workin' At the Car Wash Blues" always stood out for me: "Working at this end of Niagara Falls is an undiscovered Howard Hughes."

![]() Oh yeah, and it's also from Aretha Franklin's remake of Otis Redding's "Respect." Maybe some of you have heard it.
