This episode sure could have used James. At the end Florida confronted the gang and could have gotten herself hurt. That's says a lot about her character, literally and figurally speaking. Even though this might seems like a joke, but since James wasn't around, J.J. should have been in that scene.

Yeah, JJ would've been broken like a toothpick!
Couldn't have Bookman or someone go with her, though? |

After they degrade Bookman and talk about him like a dog - they are going to ask him for HELP? Uh, don't think that would've happened. And he was silly as all hell, he'd probably start doing impressions for the young thugs in the hopes of easing the tension.
I never understood why she went down there by herself. I mean, but it was just a gang of 14 year old boys...how much damage could they do? And gangbanging in the 70s was very different than what we see today. Back then it was about street fighting and true skills with your fists and an occasional switchblade thrown in for good measure. Nobody was using guns and all of this nonsense today. No way she can rescue him from some Bloods or Crips on the southside of Chicago today. Another sign of the times, you couldn't pay a gang member of the day to proclaim their affiliation with a gang by wearing such an obvious declaration as a jacket with your name on it. You can't get into too much trouble if the police know who you are and who you're down with. 70s gangs were the start but not nearly where we see things today. So, in my opinion, she didn't have too much to be worried about. Go get ya boy and get home. He probably got teased so bad for that move. Your mother had to come down and bail you out. LOL |

knl9674, that's funny! Ha ha! That's about all Bookman could do! Those stupid impressions were a joke! That's why I said Bookman was a bigger joke than J.J. At least J.J. gave him some manly advice.

Funny thing, but how did they raise the money to purchase jackets for each member? Maybe the Satan Knights had an AA.
