Default "Rivals and Stepsisters"

"Rivals and Stepsisters"

It is about a man with a teenage daughter and a woman with a teenage daughter who end up getting married. Tim Allen plays Mark Burke, a physical therapist, who is recently married to Liz Sheridan-Burke (played by Fran Drescher), a dental hygenist. Lindsay and Cassie are both seniors in high school, and both don't get along ever since the summer between 7th and 8th grade-where they were fighting over the same guy and eventually became longtime rivals. The rivaling teens now are stepsisters who hate each other with a deep passion. Liz and Mark are very much in love and are trying to deal with their daughters not getting along at all. Cassie's best friend is Holly (Madeline Zima), who is always by Cassie's side. Lindsay's best friend is Ashlee (Hailey Duff), who is always by Lindsay's side. Lindsay and Ashlee's strictly platonic guy-friend, Parker (Martin Spanjers) becomes the object of Cassie's affection-even though, Cassie has a steady boyfriend, Luke (Justin Berifield).
