Default How many seasons this should have lasted?

I would say at least 5. 3 seasons was not enough. I'm not counting What's Happening Now! That was terrible.

If they got rid of Big & Little Earl and Snake, I think it should have been around for about five seasons.

If they remained I don't think it should have lasted.

Funny that those two series were syndicated separately as technically they are different shows but in my area they were reran on the same station, so it seemed like the show had 6 seasons. But really the show could've gone on for at least a year 4- but get rid of the Earls and Snake and bring a couple college aged girls into the show. Also the absence of Mabel Thomas left a hole in the show.

Speaking of holes why didn't Roger's eyeglasses have any lenses? That is one of the strangest things I have ever seen!

I wish they would've kept it on for a third season and try to let it grow.

I recall I was saddened when the show left the air. Mabel King's absence hurt the show and the ratings.

I agree. It was a different kind of show during the 3rd season.

Maybe it could have lasted another season, but I seriously doubt it. If the writers wrote the scripts in a way that benefits the characters and maybe having Mabel King back, a slight possibility it could have went on another year but very slight.

5 seasons is good enough.

maybe, 6.

i always wondered what they will do after graduation.

it will be nice to see them to go after their dreams.

Perhaps it was technical - maybe light would have reflected off them into the camera lenses. Or...perhaps Ernest Thomas had 20/20 vision at the time.

becuz of the glare and reflection of the studio lights. That's why whenever there is a car in an episode (any show) there is no windshield.
