This is something of a cross posting but I'm desperate.
The closing verse at the end of each episode ended...."for a hunking heaping helping of their hospitality". But what were the words that followed. I think it was "Take your shoes off" but then a couple of phrases which are lost upon the ignorant English viewer. Anyone remember? |

The words to the closing theme are:
Now its time to say goodbye to Jed and all his kin. They would like to thank you folks for kindly droppin' in. You're all invited back next week to this locality...to have a heapin' helpin' of their hospitality. Hillbilly that is, set a spell, take your shoes off. Ya'll come back now, y'hear. |
