Default Is "Wife Sawp" the wrong title for this reality show?

Since this is a show about families trading MOTHERS, why is it called Wife Swap? Wife Swap would mean the husbands trading wives. Anyone Agree?

WHAT DOES IT MATTER? It could go both ways... the fathers are married and are husbands and the mothers are married and are wives.

Because Wife Swap sounds like a woman who would be getting to know a different guy and vice versa, not being the mother to a new Family.lol A wife to another husband. So that's why I was shocked when I heard the title of the show back in the summer.

When I first heard the title I thought gee tv has really gone low.
All I could think of was the All in the Family episode where Edith unknowly advertise for a wife swap. Louise Jefferson tells her what the ad really is. After the Janet Jackson fiasco, I thought the sensors will flip with this. Fortunally it wasn't what I thought.
