Default Anyone else think....

Sam and Hank's marriage was too rushed? I mean we've never even heard of Hank and suddenly Sam is marrying him? It was a nice episode, but it was just way too rushed....

Well, remember, Sam was going to marry Matt from New Mexico, and Angela brought up how she had gotten married at 18 or something like that. I'm surprised it wasn't brought up again in "Better Off Wed". I don't think it was rushed because you have to remember that so much time in these people's lives goes by in between episodes that we don't see, so maybe they hit it off and we just didn't see it, you know?

Also, the producers rushed it because "Better Off Wed" was supposed to be Tony and Angela's wedding episode, but at last minute, the two decided they didn't want Tony and Angela to marry until the end of the season, then Tony decided he didn't want them to marry at all because he felt it would ruin what the show was about... whether or not they get together.

well ya we know that but it did seem kinda fast. not that much time went by. sam said that they had been together like 3 or 6 months.

The wedding was definitely rushed. I do, however, believe the impetuousness of it fit Sam's character. I loved this episode though. It was very touching but also heartbreaking.

Maybe they just felt like doing something impulsive. I've known people who have gotten married within the first 3 or 4 months of their relationship... not a smart idea, but hey! It was rushed, but it makes some sort of sense somehow, lol!

Darn straight it was rushed only because of the last minute rewriting by the writers

You have to cut the writers some slack for that though.
