Hi,Mindy. My name is Richard, and I sure do remember Donna in that Night Gallery show.I also remember her from the memorable Twilight Zone episode,"Eye of the Beholder."Donna Douglas,as far as I was concerned, was the most beautiful woman on television-at least during the '60s.She was so sweet and lovely in BH and I envied a few of the men who got to spend quality time with Elly May.She was a dream girl!

Richard (Member),

How old are you?

I am 28 (I was born on June 13, 1972 in Texas, USA).

Yes, Donna Douglas was very pretty. But, Bill Bixby was gorgeous (Hubble Bubble).

Mindy,

To reply-I am old enough to remember the original network run of Beverly Hillbillies.I was eight when I first saw it,and 16 going on 17(Good song title that would make)when it finaly went off.My father once said,"You've been seeing it all these 9 years? You haven't matured much."He was joking of course, but one way that I matured was the way I thought of Elly May.WOW!I always liked her,but by the time I was in my mid-teens....'nuff said!

By the way,I remember Bill Bixby from more than one show over the years and it was sad that he die at a relatively young age.

I remember seeing the special "Legend of the
Beverly Hillbillies" in, I guess it must've
been 1992 or 1993, and Donna was still just
as beautiful as ever....I guess she will be
like Goldie Hawn or Barbara Eden, and not
ever age....I only remember the Hillbillies
being new the last couple of years it was on
the air, but even that young, I thought she
was the prettiest thing in blue jeans....

Douglas always wore the prettiest attire, whether it be the the bikinis she wore in "Jethro in the Reserve" and "Cimarron Drip", some pink gown, and blue jeans.

Watch for Donna in season 1 of Love, American Style.

Part one of the season is now on DVD, but we'll have to wait for Part Two to see her.

The season is split in half, 12 episodes per set. Donna appeared near the end of Season 1 (Episode 22 or so), so we will see her work in the next DVD release -- for which I hope we don't have too long of a wait!!

(There's some possible confusion due to differences in original air dates vs. production dates, but regardless, the next set will finish the season.

BH and Love, American Style are both great -- I'm also looking forward to seeing other Paul Henning "family" members eventually in Love episodes, including Jeannine Riley, Linda Kaye Henning, and Meredith MacRae!
