I've never heard of them. Budgie...that sounds like a different name for a band. I'm picturing all these birds on stage singing.

I remember when I was about 15 in the 70's and I would see Budgie albums in record stores and always wanted to know what they sounded like...But there was too much disco going on...

Metallica has covered a few Budgie tunes, "Breadfan," "Crash Course in Brain Surgery", and "The Prince."
