Default Closer

For whatever reason, the movie Closer looks extremely interesting to me. I dont know what it is, I'm not especially a fan of Julia Robert or Jude Law, though I quite like Natalie Portman.

I havnt seen anything by the director or screen writer...in fact, the movie has a great potential to be terrible, but something about the advertising and the on screen chemistry shown just looks amazing.

Does anyone else think Closer looks good, I know that it has a potential to be terrible...(more so than most movies I see), I guess I will check reviews, I dont live by them, but I mean, if Ebert and Roper say that it is truly terrible, I probably wont see it, since I'm normally at least somewhat close to agreeing with them.

I'm a big fan of Natalie Portman, so I plan to see this movie.

well, according to an NYTimes add Ebert & Roeper gave it Two Thumbs Way Up, though, apparently none of you care.

This next song is a song about death, and...how you shouldn't be afraid of it. Also, I wrote it on acid, so it should be pretty good..."

Natalie Portman is hot. She has a pretty smile. I saw her on the biography channel when she was talkin to that white guy who always interviews movie stars at a acting school in New York with a large audience. I might check out Closer when it comes on video. I have no interest in seeing it now.

seeing as I dont think there are any black guys who interview people at an acting school, I think if you just said "guy" we would have known who you meant. His race couldn't possibly matter less.

I think it looks good. I want to see it. Does anyone know what song is playing in the trailers?

I haven't seen the trailers or anything but I've read about it and it sounds interesting. What makes we want to see it more than anything is that it looks similar to Mike Nichol's first movie, 'Who's afraid of virginia woolf?'- which was also a very chatty drama with few cast members. So, I want to see it in the hope it's as good as, or even nearly as good as 'Virginia Woolf.'

I saw it today and I loved it. All four actors did a fantastic job. Hopefully the Oscars won't overlook it. Natalie Portman deserves a nomination for sure.
