Default Rob, one sexy comedy writer

I've been going through the old posts and I've seen a lot of remarks about lovely Laura...but not too many have mentioned that Rob is a HUNK! DVD is very good looking, but I think it's really Rob's personality that makes him so very appealing. The kind of guy every girl would like to have as a life partner, I think.

That is true! We are always talking about Lovely Laura aren't we? Let's give Rob a chance here! He really wasn't that bad..... especially when he sprained his body, and the cute little bandage on his nose. LOL! Now that I think of it, you're right! Geeezzz... everyone is gonna think I'm so stupid not to notice until now! LOL!

I think the young Dick Van Dyke was VERY ATTRACTIVE! He's the main thing that attracted me to the show at first. I agree that his personality just makes him all the better. Even if you don't have the looks (which he has them) the personality always makes you more beautiful!

I can't belive that I forgot to mention that I am obsessed with his haircut as well! That's all for now.

Ah, the Kennedy haircut. You can see why the Beatles made most parents of the time go a little nuts with that hair cut!

And yes, Rob was VERY attractive. I'm always surprised that fans rarely mention that. I liked the episode (which one was it?) where Laura defends Rob when someone calls him "skinny". "He's not skinny, he's willowy."

Come now, Nora & ladies.
We men all know it's the "Bad Boys" who turn you on. Robert S. Petrie wouldn't stand a chance with any of you, if you were available!
Oh, he's cute enough, but he's "too sweet," and you know it!

I'm with you Nora. I'll take Robert Petrie over any bad boy any day!! As long as he says "honey" at least once a day. I love how he says it!

What I find so appealing is that he was that way in real life. Dick Van Dyke was (is!) a genuinely good, sincere guy. I remember in one of the interviews he said he just acted like himself when he played Rob Petrie. Plus he sings, he dances, he can fall out of a chair like he's made of water...How could you not love him?!

I know I am going to start something here, but I'll take my chances. Right before the recent presidential election, a local radio talk show host commented that women found John Edwards more attractive than Dick Cheney and therefore would vote for Edwards based on that. Well, you should have heard the calls. Not ONE woman who called in prefered Edwards. They all said he was too slick. EVERY ONE of them said they prefered Dick Cheney because he was intelligent and experienced. IT HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH LOOKS! It had everything to do with character, which Rob Petrie has oozing out of his ears. Yes, Rob Petrie happens to be fortunate enough to be physically attractive, but the things that we love most about him are his honesty, his integrity, his obvious devotion to his wife and son, his sense of humor and his "boyish charm." If men only understood what women truly find attractive, there would be very little divorce!
