Does anybody know the name of Ellie's white cat that liked to swim in the cement pond?

I think the cat's name was Rusty.I recall Elly May showing her cat how to swim,and later on showing her chicken how to swim.

Critters did things for Elly that they could for no one else.They all sensed that Elly was kind and gentle and would not harm them.In the hills,she had made pets with wolves and deer and who-knows-what else.She was a lovely girl and had a very special raport with animals.

Anyone remember the Season 8 episode where she dated a vet?
