Default Clost Encounters Of The Third Kind

Close Encounters Of The Third Kind.

Did you see this movie? And the special edtion
I thought it had a lot of action for it's typ of movie theme,Steven Spielberg directed the movie well. For it's days, made in 1977 or early 1980's. Ufo's have been around for ever,Mr Speilberg did some research about UFO'S, If they made it now I think it would be a smash hit.

Man In Black
Indepence Day
ET
The Blob
War Of The Worlds
remake of the Blob 1988
Invasion Of The Body Sanaters

are some of mine favorite sci-fi movies.

I've seen this movie soooo many times, I've lost count. In fact, I just watched it the other night on AMC, even though I have it on video tape and DVD. Actually I listened to it, while I was on the computer. Didn't really even need to watch it, I knew what was going on just by listening to it. It definitely is one of my all-time favorite movies.

The part where Roy & Jillian finally find Devil's Tower, and they're climbing that small hill to see it better, and the audience sees what they see, it still gives me goosebumps. I don't know why.

This past summer, I finally got to see Devil's Tower up close. Yeah, it's just a really big rock, but it really is breath-taking to see in person, especially after seeing it in the movie all these years!!

A great film. Lots of suspense and a great story to boot.

It should be noted that "Close Encounters" was the last film Spielberg wrote until he did "A.I."

Spielberg originally intended E.T to be the sequel to Close Encounters, but changed his mind and made it a stand alone film.

Contact is also a very similar film.

You mean after George Lucas of course, don't you?!
Eh, he does make some good movies, and Close Encounters is a terrific film.

I rented this film once. I thought the scene where the "E.T." is waving while it is inside the craft was funny. "Close Encounters" is a pretty good film. I still want to see the sci-fi film "The Blob".
